The Woodside Landscape Committee (WLC) is a volunteer group of residents who work on projects to beautify certain Town-owned properties here in Woodside. We help to weed and groom the planting in front of the Woodside Community Museum and we monitor the landscape maintenance needs of other Town-owned areas.
The purpose of this Fund is to build and maintain trails in the Town of Woodside and surrounds.
Donations to the Woodside Village Band Fund cover the basic costs of rehearsal and equipment space, advertisements, concert programs, and the purchase of new music. With additional funds, the group will award scholarships to high school seniors in the band that are pursuing musical careers.
The Woodside-area Horse Owners Association’s works to preserve the fundamental role of horses in maintaining the rural character of the Town of Woodside and neighboring foothill communities, to enhance opportunities for equestrian activities, and to promote the enjoyment of horses in all their various roles.
Donations to the Foundation’s General Fund are always greatly appreciated, and are spent at the discretion of the Board of Directors for charitable purposes in the Town of Woodside and its surrounds.
This fund provides much-needed help to the women and men who make their livelihood in our greater community and who have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope you’ll join us in supporting our local work force with a contribution today.
Thanks to your generous donations to our Woodside Together Fund we raised $10,000. As promised, these donations were matched dollar for dollar by the Woodside Community Foundation and a check for $20,000 was sent to the San Mateo County Strong Fund. The San Mateo County Strong Fund helps struggling individuals, families, small businesses and non-profits throughout the County.
Woodside residents are extremely appreciative of the dedication and commitment that the Robert’s of Woodside employees have demonstrated as front line workers since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis. Their hard work and long hours have allowed Woodsiders to have a safe, clean, well-stocked place to shop that is close to home during the region’s Shelter in Place directive.
This fund provides financial assistance to subsidized child care providers for low-income families in San Mateo County especially in the areas of North Fair Oaks and Redwood City. Access to high-quality child care, essential to our region’s economic vitality, has suffered a major setback with the COVID crisis threatening the health and well-being of our essential workers and their young families. Your help NOW will make a tremendous difference in the lives of many parents, children and employers for years to come.
With the success of this year's Community Grant Project, the Foundation is hoping to offer three more $5,000 awards in 2019. Join us in building community by making a contribution to Foundation's 2019 Community Grant Project Fund.
