Ways to Give
Bequests

One of the simplest ways to make a lasting gift to the Woodside Community Foundation is to include a statement in your will or living trust that a share of your estate will be distributed to the Foundation.

Bequests are deductible as charitable gifts for estate tax purposes and can include most assets. A charitable bequest may be added to an existing will as a codicil.

When your attorney draws up your will or living trust, Woodside Community Foundation should be designated as:

Woodside Community Foundation, a California non-profit public benefit corporation, with business address of P.O. Box 620494, Woodside, California, 94062.

WCF’s taxpayer identification number is: 94-6108531

The Foundation was incorporated on November 13, 1952.

We suggest you specify that your bequest be “used in such a manner as the Board of Directors of the Woodside Community Foundation shall, in its discretion, determine.”

If you prefer to restrict your bequest to a particular Fund, WCF is pleased to work with you to ensure that your wishes will be met.
