DONATE TO THIS FUND

Update June 3, 2020:
Reporting unprecedented numbers of requests for emergency assistance, the Fair Oaks Community Center needs our help NOW. Those in need are the people who provide basic services in and around our community, the services we can’t live without. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $10,000 which will be given to the Fair Oaks Community Center to distribute to low-income families living in Woodside and adjacent communities. Please consider making a donation today and we will double your contribution.  If you’ve already given to this or one of our other COVID-19 funds, thank you!

Much of Woodside’s work force reside in Redwood City and the North Fair Oaks unincorporated area. The Fair Oaks Community Center provides food, housing and an array of other emergency assistance and social services to low-income residents in our greater community. They are receiving record requests for rental assistance. They work closely with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley food bank to address emergency needs for food. Second Harvest served an estimated 384,000 neighbors in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties in April 2020 — nearly 100,000 more than at the start of the COVID-19 crisis.

Woodside Together 2.0 Fund

The need for emergency assistance is immediate and urgent. The Woodside Together 2.0 Fund will provide aid for housing and food support for those in crisis in our wider community. Donations to this fund will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $5,000) by the Foundation with a goal of raising $10,000 or more by May 31, 2020. The funds will be distributed by the Fair Oaks Community Center.

We hope you’ll donate today to our Woodside Together 2.0 Fund and double your contribution to our community. If you would like to offer additional matching funds, please contact us by using our contact form.
