As we move into that time of year when we gather together to celebrate holidays with friends and family and to reflect on the activities of the year, we at WCF and our funds have much for which to be thankful. While things are still not quite back to normal for our community and the world, the WCF and our funds have resumed activities this year and we wanted to share that work with you, especially since it’s thanks to your interest, ideas, and support that we’ve been able to carry on.

It’s time to tackle the landscaping of Woodside’s ‘front door’! A project like this takes a village or, in this case, a team effort of the Town of Woodside, the Woodside Landscape Committee, and the Woodside Community Foundation.
The Light the Tree Fund was created to cover the costs of lighting the Christmas Tree and installing the Nativity at the corner of Canada and Woodside Road each year during the Christmas season.
The purpose of this Fund is to support the maintenance and capital improvement of the Woodside Village Church.
Since 2017, this fund has helped Woodside stay ready for the next natural disaster. We are currently raising funds for all regional fire emergencies with a focus on large animal rescue and relief in San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties.
A group of Woodside residents created this project with the goal of beautifying a bare, inhospitable stretch of Cañada Road at the northern entrance to the Town of Woodside by planting natural groupings of native California Valley Oaks.
The purpose of this Fund is to support the ongoing operations of the Woodside Community Museum.
