Woodside Musical Theatre

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
Seussical,the Musical
Woodside Musical Theatre (WMT, formerly Woodside Community Theatre) has staged live Broadway musicals in Woodside since 1957. Except for the pandemic years, shows have been performed annually since 2003. These annual productions are true community events bringing together friends and neighbors on stage, behind the scenes, and in the audience. Costs to produce live theatre increased post-pandemic and audiences are not returning as rapidly as hoped. Due to these circumstances WMT now faces a $10,000 funding shortfall going into their next production.
How can you help?
WMT must raise $10,000 by September 30 to help cover costs for the October production of Seussical (an adaptation of the works by childrens’ book author, Dr. Seuss.) The Woodside Community Foundation will match your donations up to $3,000. Please consider a donation in any amount to help us keep live theatre in our community.
