Good Neighbor Fund

What your donations are used for:
With the generous help of our donors the WCF has supported our neighbors when disaster strikes. These efforts have included:
- The Angel Fund provided food and shelter to neighboring families facing food and housing insecurity.
- Large animal rescue efforts due to the North Bay Fires of 2017
- Large animal rescue efforts due to the CZU Lightning Complex Fire 2019
- COVID-19 relief funds to support those impacted in the great community 2020
- La Honda Fire Brigade Type 5 Wildland Fire Engine contribution 2022
- La Honda Fire Protection District ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) contribution 2023
- Puente de la Costa Sur (affordable farmworker housing in Pescadero) contribution 2024
The Good Neighbor Fund will continue this tradition going forward.
Why this fund is important:
The health and well-being of Woodside is closely connected to that of our neighboring communities. Some of these neighbors (people and creatures) are without the strong ties and resources we are blessed with. The Good Neighbor Fund provides a continued, flexible source of funding, allowing the WCF to act quickly to respond to all types of emergencies and disasters impacting our neighbors.
