Enormous Turnout of Woodside’s “Movers and Shakers”
Response to the Foundation’s first Day of Giving far exceeded expectations. The event began with a heartfelt tribute to long-time WCF Board member and community philanthropist, Robert Flint, and culminated with the awarding of three community grants of up to $5,000.

Given the quality and range of the applications received from the Foundation’s call for Community Grant Projects, the Board is now looking for ways to broaden it’s support of this effort in the coming year.
The WCF Board of Directors wishes to thank Woodside community members Marsha BonDurant, Kerry DeBenedetti, Tish Krieg, Susan Lang and Donna Poy for donating their time and boundless creative energy to making the Day of Giving a success from start to finish.
The Foundation also thanks its talented committee of Community Judges Michelle Ahlstrom, Meredith Cranston, Cindy Goldberg, Thalia Lubin, Jonathan MacSwain, Heather McLeod Grant, Stevan Patrick and Karie Thomson for their careful and thoughtful review of the community grant applications received.
