WES COVID-19 Community Coalition Fund

The need is urgent

As the coronavirus and shelter-in-place restrictions continue, more families in our community are struggling. Approximately thirty families in our Woodside Elementary School community are presently experiencing extreme financial hardship. Lost jobs, reduced work hours, additional caregiving responsibilities, and direct line-of-work exposure to the virus are taking a toll and families are challenged paying for basic needs such as food and groceries, rent and childcare.

We are a community that comes together

As a community, we want to provide a support system that ensures all our school families pull through this crisis. Your contributions will go directly to these impacted families to provide food and housing support and assist with other basic needs. It will help ensure students can keep learning, children are safe and healthy, and families stay together. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help these local families in need by June 30, 2020.

In times of hardship, community is more important than ever. We may be required to remain physically distant but we can stay connected and come together as a community to support all our friends, neighbors, classmates, and families. Together we are stronger.
