What donations are used for:

With your generous donation to this Fund, the Woodside Community Foundation will continue the tradition it started this year, and award three more community grants of $5,000 in 2019.

Why this fund is important:

We think you'll agree that each of the three final projects chosen in the 2018 Community Grant Project benefits the Woodside Community in a unique and lasting way. Perhaps of greater importance, this program encourages volunteerism and "giving back" close to home.

  • New audio-visual equipment for the Wunderlich Park Public Programs, through the Friends of Huddart and Wunderlich Parks.
  • Construction of a new judge's stand at the Kiely Equestrian Center, by J. B. Pellegrin, a local eagle scout.
  • The Methuselah Tree Project, spearheaded by Ann McCormick, featuring creation of a website, eBook and print activity book for children detailing historic events around the famed Methuselah tree.
